Alumni, friends and faculty joined in celebration of VCU Community Health Education on Saturday, May 30. Remarks from Joann Richardson, Ph.D., associate professor and Community Health Education program coordinator, welcomed guests and shared a history of the program. In December 2015, the Community Health Education program will graduate its final class of students. The reception paid tribute to the program’s legacy and the accomplishments of its students, alumni and faculty.
In December 2015, the Community Health Education program will graduate its final class of students. Join in supporting the program’s legacy with a gift to the Dr. Joann T. Richardson Community Health Scholarship today. The scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding full-time junior or senior in the Health Science concentration or a master’s student focusing on Community Health or Health Promotion in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences (formerly the Department of Health and Human Performance in the School of Education).
