The Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences is dedicated to improving health and well-being for a variety of populations.

Through inter- and multidisciplinary research, we investigate the physiological, biochemical, psychological, nutritional and behavioral components of health. 

Our faculty have established national and international reputations for research excellence in their respective fields, conducting cutting-edge research to achieve the research missions of the department in collaborations with multiple private and academic partners.

The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree with two concentration options, an undergraduate post-baccalaureate certificate, a graduate post-baccalaureate certificate and two graduate degrees. We also offer three accelerated bachelor's to master's degree programs.
