These badges, earned throughout their academic journey, can be easily integrated into resumes, email signatures and social media profiles, providing employers with a clear and trustworthy way to verify qualifications while giving students a competitive edge in the job market.

Exercise Prescription
Earners have knowledge and practical skills in exercise prescription for healthy and special populations. They completed training on key principles, including considerations for children, older adults, pregnancy, and chronic disease. Earners gained hands-on experience in fitness assessments and applied their skills through real-work clinical experiences involving exercise testing and prescription.
Gender, Sexuality and Health
Earners understand current trends & how historic policies, processes & narratives shape gender & sexual health inequities. They apply core concepts & theoretical frameworks in Gender, Sexuality & Women's Studies to relevant & critical health issues. Earners can analyze & critique systems of oppression in order to advance health equity for all people, using techniques from the creative arts, philosophical inquiry, advocacy & community organizing, health policy & legislation & academic research.
Health Communication
Earners have demonstrated skills in health messaging and public relations. They can create clear, ethical communications that effectively convey health information and interpret specialized terminology. They have a solid grasp of health care dynamics, enabling them to analyze key components and use strategic messaging to support health initiatives. These abilities make them valuable contributors in both public relations and health care settings.
Healthy Heart Lab Undergraduate Research
Earners demonstrated practical expertise in an exercise physiology research lab through 240 direct contact hours in the Healthy Heart Lab & active engagement in health science research. They are capable of performing routine, intermediate & advanced procedures, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, conducting research, analyzing data & addressing key competencies. This includes designing health initiatives, collaborating with teams & learning how to disseminate knowledge.
Healthy Heart Lab Undergraduate Research Presentation
Earners demonstrated knowledge of research ethics, safety protocols, and compliance standards essential for responsible research and laboratory work. They have experience in analyzing and interpreting data. Earners are able to engage in research activities and share findings in appropriate settings.
Inclusive Fitness and Health
Earners have practical expertise in inclusive fitness and health programming. They are capable of assessing the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and applying evidence-based principles to design, implement, and adapt exercise programs for this population. This includes collecting and interpreting data to adjust programs independently and/or collaboratively, as well as producing professional, accessible documentation that meets workforce standards.
