  • Integrative Blood Pressure Control Lab.
  • The (IBPC) laboratory aims to determine the mechanisms of impaired blood pressure control and hypertension—the leading modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Areas of research focus on the effects of aging, sex hormones, and lifestyle factors (e.g., diet and exercise) that contribute to blood pressure regulation. The IBPC Lab strives to develop evidence-based strategies that promote cardiovascular health and ensure all individuals can live without the burden of hypertension and its complications.
