Imran has received a prestigious research fund from the Sleep Research Society Foundation (SRSF) for his study entitled "Sleep extension to improve sleep efficiency and quality of life in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction: the SLEEP-HF pilot study".

Under the mentorship of Dr. Salvatore Carbone, Imran has conducted research on sleep in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Using this grant, Imran will conduct a pilot study to implement sleep extension techniques to improve sleep efficiency and, ultimately, the quality of life in patients with HFpEF.

The SRSF Small Research Grant Program is intended to provide seed funding to support training and research, ultimately enabling individuals to successfully apply for or complete career development grants.

Congratulations Imran and Dr. Carbone!
