During his Fulbright, Acevedo will be working at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in Natal, Brazil. While there, he will conduct research that will provide valuable information to be utilized to enhance physical activity motivation and adherence. He will also coordinate a research seminar series titled "International Perspectives on the Psychobiology of Physical Activity" to be offered for academic credit to students at UFRN and VCU.

Acevedo will be at UFRN during the fall 2023 semester.
